At Savannah River Academy, we believe some of life's greatest lessons are learned outside the classroom. When school is not in session, we offer programming to keep children- SRA students and students all over our community active and engaged.
We offer half-day (9 am-1 pm) camp sessions with the options of before (7:45am-9 am) and after (1 pm-5 pm) camp care. We will also offer a few afternoon camp options (2-5 pm). From traditional day camp experience to specialty camps such as STEAM and Art camps, as well as Academic Enrichment opportunities, we have scheduled a summer that will be FUN, ENGAGING, and will create lifelong memories.
We are pleased you have chosen Happy Hawks Summer Programs for your student's summer camp adventure destination. You will receive an individual welcome email on the Wednesday before the start of each camp your student is enrolled in. The information below provides a few details upfront and expresses how excited we are to welcome your camper to SRA's campus this summer!
Registration: Registration and checkout are for one camper. If you are registering more than one camper, please register/check out each camper separately. This is to ensure camper information and camp waivers are for individual campers.
Carpool: We will run morning and afternoon carpool as we do during the school year. More information will be provided in your welcome email.
Lunch: Campers will enjoy lunch during their camps by eating a lunch brought from home daily. Please also send a daily snack and a labeled and refillable water bottle. Exact lunch plans will be provided in individual welcome emails.
Communication: The SRA Happy Hawks Summer Staff team will communicate welcome emails on Wednesday before the start of each program. Emails will be sent to the information you provide in the registration process, so please verify that your email address is correct and updated if you do not receive an email by 5 pm on Wednesday before the program starts.
Waitlist: Waitlists are never fun, but we try our best to notify families via email as soon as a space becomes available.
Early Birds: Allows families to drop off their camper (age four and up) before the start of their program for an extra hour of fun. Campers will play games and participate in activities before the counselors dismiss them from their program. Early birds starts at 7:45am each day. This can be found in the 4-12-year-old section of the camp descriptions.
After Camp Care: Allows families to extend their camper's (age four and up) day until 5 pm. Campers will be dismissed from their program at its conclusion and will be provided a snack and the opportunity for extra hours of fun with counselors through organized games, crafts, and activities. Early birds starts at 7:45 am each day. This can be found in the 4-12-year-old section of the camp descriptions.
