GVC supports critical local grassroots advocacy efforts in support of MOAA's legislative agenda. We directly support local veterans' groups such as Honor Flight Rochester, ROTC and JROTC programs, the Veteran Outreach Center, and Wreaths Across America. GVC is a standing member of the Rochester Veterans Memorial Council to collaborate with many local veterans' groups in support of joint projects. We host 6 luncheons per year to promote our camaraderie, with guest speakers on a range of interesting topics. GVC publishes a monthly newsletter to keep our members informed and also maintains and award-winning website. Our newsletter and our website both have been award-winning communication projects for many years.
