Your Girl Scout is invited to join us for a WORLD THINKING DAY virtual event on Saturday, February 11th, at 1:00 PM PST.
The WORLD THINKING DAY AWARD is one of the most important Girl Scout badges and a fun and favorite Girl Scout tradition to
earn. Making the world a better place is Girl Scout Law, so it’s no surprise we have a holiday dedicated to doing just that.
February 22nd is the official World Thinking Day holiday. On this day, Girl Scouts and Girl Guides across 150 countries celebrate World Thinking Day; it has been celebrated since 1926. It’s a day of international friendship and a time to stand up for causes that could improve the lives of girls around the globe. And while the holiday itself comes in February, the World Thinking Day Award can be earned at any time of year.
World Thinking Day has a different theme each year. In 2023, the theme is “Our World, Our Peaceful Future: The environment, peace, and security.”
When you Girl Scout has completed this session, and completed all the steps, she’ll earn this special 2023 WORLD THINKING DAY AWARD which is a front of the vest badge.
Join Ambassador Girl Scout troop 11302 as they host this event over ZOOM and lead the entire program. They always bring the Girl Scout spirit, fun, and their love of sharing Girl Scout programming with younger scouts.

Important:
There is a WORLD THINKING DAY AWARD for each year of each Girl Scout level. This allows your Girl Scout to earn this award each year so she can learn about the annual theme and participate in the annual activities while earning the front of the vest badge.

Start time: 1:00 PM- 3:00 PM Pacific Standard Time (PST)
Cost: $12 per attendee
Deadline to register: The day before the event.
A materials list & zoom link will be provided one week prior to the event.
Badges will NOT be provided and must be purchased separately.
No refunds.
