Get ready to support two foundations in honor of two Newton High School students taken way too soon at our first annual combined tricky tray!
The Gunnar J. Bigley Foundation is a local 501(c) 3 organization that provides scholarships to local high school seniors who plan to pursue a career in law enforcement, ROTC, armed services and or any other career that serves our community including EMS units. Our main focus though is to support law enforcement agencies and EMS units by providing funding to them to develop programs to educate the public about issues affecting their communities and to help them to purchase equipment that will allow them to serve and protect the communities they serve.
The Lexi Faye Heart of Gold Scholarship Foundation is a not for profit community based organization. The mission is to honor the memory of seventeen year old Lexi Faye, who was tragically killed in a car accident, by seeking out opportunities to help build up and support communities. Our efforts include local scholarships, building a local playground, flying in animals from flood zones, supporting local domestic abuse centers and much more.
Our Foundations will be holding our first annual tricky tray on April 26, 2025 at Merriam Avenue School in Newton, New Jersey. We are planning a 50/50, basket raffle, wheel of chance, lottery apron, money tree, and more!
