Coyotes Sled Hockey Association

The Phoenix Coyotes Sled Hockey Association is a 501c3 organization that has been active for over 20 years. What began as a competitive, travel sled hockey team has grown into an organization that is focused on giving everyone the opportunity to experience ice hockey. Sled hockey is an adaptive form of ice hockey designed for people with a wide range of physical impairments. Although players are seated in sleds, it is very similar to standing hockey. The competitiveness, athleticism, and even physical contact are very similar to the game we all know and love. In addition to our travel sled hockey team, we host open clinics for anyone wanting to try sled hockey. Our goal is to allow people of all ages, demographics, and backgrounds the ability to experience the thrill of ice hockey. We provide all of the equipment necessary and there are absolutely no fees for anyone who wants to try sled hockey. Our travel team players pay a nominal yearly fee, so we rely on donations to help cover ice time, travel, transportation, tournament entry fees, and equipment costs.

We are an organization of volunteers, so every penny that you donate will go directly towards ice time, equipment, and associated costs. Our goal is simply to provide the best experience possible for our athletes, and to allow as many people, with or without physical impairments, the opportunity to enjoy the game of hockey.
