The Cottagers Sundown Soiree will be held on August 7, 2024, at Featherstone Center for the Arts from 4pm - 7pm.
The proceeds will benefit the historic restoration of Cottagers Corner, which is located at 57 Pequot Avenue, in Oak Bluffs, MA. that serves to provide needed affordable community programming and meeting space.
The Cottagers, Inc. is a 501c3 philanthropic organization of African American women homeowners of Martha's Vineyard that was founded in the 1950s. Since its founding, The Cottagers has been dedicated to financially supporting worthwhile island charitable organizations, providing educational scholarships to students graduating from island-based high schools, and sponsoring educational and cultural programs that improve the quality of life in the community.
