Ice Skating Party - Siblings & Parent Guests

Hello AHG Families. A huge thank you to each girl (and their family) that helped participate in this years Wreath's Across America Fundraiser. The prize for achieving our goal this year is a FREE Ice Skating Party!

The troop has rented out the Ice Rink Down Town in Acacia Park as a private rental and we will have the ice all to ourselves. All registered girls and adults are able to come, lace up their skates (included at no extra charge) and enjoy a night skating on the Ice. Siblings and unregistered parents are welcome to join in on the fun, for $5 per person. Only those non-registered guests who are renting skates need to purchase a ticket.

NOTE: THIS IS NOT A DROP OFF EVENT. A parent is required to remain onsite with girls at all times. Non-skating parents/siblings do not need to pay.

DETAILS:

WHEN: Monday January 8th, 4-6pm

WHERE: Acaica Park- 115 E Platte Ave

EXTRA THINGS TO CONSIDER

  • Dress warm- It gets very cold once the sun sets. The enclosed area does have some space heaters, but every year we still have people cold. Wear your hats, gloves, scarfs, a good coat. Consider some long-johns under your pants. (Especially if you aren't skating).
  • We have some great parents who are facilitating hot chocolate. If you would like something more substantial than that please feel free to bring your own food. There are also some great restaurants downtown if your family wants to go out after the event.
  • Parking downtown can be unpredictable. It is recommended that you arrive 15-20 minutes early to find a good parking spot. They usually don't let us in the event until it starts, right before 4pm.
