2023 Chinese New Year Parade in San Francisco - The Year of the Dragon
Parade Date: Saturday, February 24th, 2024 Time: 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm
All students are welcome to join and no experience is necessary. You do not need to be in ASEP to join the 2023 Chinese New Year Parade in San Francisco.
Registration deadline is Friday December 8, 2023 at 8 pm. Registration after the deadline will be put on the waiting list.
Please submit one registration form per child.
Participation is open to all Muir students (Grade K - 5) and CLIP Miller students.
Practice dates: every Friday (Nov 17, Dec 1, 8, 15, Jan 12,19, 26, Feb 2, 9,16) in the Muir GLC & school courtyard from 3:10-4:45 pm.
Students need parental supervision until Muir GLC opens at 3:10 pm.
PARADE DAY is Saturday, Feb 24th.
ASSISTANCE: Parent assistance is mandatory. We need help with costumes , props, running practices, managing sub-teams, and parade day chaperones.
Donation Request: $50/participant for costumes, props, bus transportation, parade meal & other costs. Using Credit Card will incur a 3.5% additional cost.
Insufficient donations may result in the parade team being cancelled.
