Central’s long history of excellence in music education actively changes lives. There are new students joining the music program each year and no student is ever turned away.
The funding from the school district alone would never be able to provide these excellent opportunities for our students. What do we use the money toward?
Supporting chorus, 2 orchestras, marching band, 3 concert bands, 3 jazz bands, 3 jazz combos with many of these groups distinguishing themselves at the state and national levels.
Overhead costs toward borrowing certain instruments each year.
Instrument repairs and marching band uniforms
New music is purchased each year
Maintaining high level of music instruction
And so much more!
