Ashtabula County Manufacturing Institute Summer Camp 2025
What is ACMI?
ACMI stands for "Ashtabula County Manufacturing Institute," which is a collection of week-long STEM-to-career summer camp, where campers will relate their educational, hands-on projects to their tours of local manufacturing facilities.
Explore fun activites, visit local businesses and meet others to prepare you for the careers of tomorrow right here in Ashtabula County!
Who: Ashtabula County students entering 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th grade
Cost: $35 per camper per week (approximately $36.85 with processing fee)
Each camper receives a T-Shirt.
Lunch is provided each day through Country Neighbor's Summer Food Program or through Camp Beaumont if that visit is part of your camper's week. (Campers may pack their lunch if they choose.)
Friday celebration lunches are provided by Gazette Newspapers/Great Lakes Printing.

There are three one-week sessions for 5th & 6th graders.
You may elect to attend more than one week.
July 14 - July 18 - Mad Scientist (Girls only)
July 21 - July 25 - Food & Agricultural Production (Co-Ed)
July 28 - August 1 - Robotics & Automation (Co-Ed)
Price is $35 per camper per week.

Entering 7th Grade
July 21 - July 25 - Future Tech.Two days at A-Tech and two days at Camp Beaumont!
Create projects at A-Tech and experience welding, electricity, plumbing and more at Camp Beaumont!
Price is $35 per camper per week. There is an additional registration processing fee. (Your total will be about $36.85)

Dress Code
For safety reasons regarding the manufacturing facilities campers will be visiting, students must follow a dress code during the camp
• Students must wear their camp t-shirt every day once it is issued. This helps identify campers.
• Students must wear sneakers or tennis shoes, NO open toe shoes are permitted, i.e. sandals.
• Students cannot wear shorts, capris, skirts or dresses. Only pants are acceptable. This is required for safety at the field trip locations.
• Students may be asked to wear safety glasses or gloves, and if so asked, must comply.
Dress code may change for Camp Beaumont days. The lead counselor will let students know.
ACMI is open to students residing in Ashtabula County. If your student resides outside of Ashtabula County, we appreciate your interest in the camp and will add your student’s name to a waitlist. If the camp is not filled two weeks before the start of camp, your student may be added to the camp. We appreciate your understanding.
