Hi everyone!
I have been building up my art skills for a few years now but towards the end of 2023, I found myself plateauing.
I needed to jump in the deep end.
So last year, I set a goal for myself – to paint everyday for an entire year, 365 days in a row.
Now that year is finished. (or nearly finished) My walls are covered in half baked master copies, still-lifes, and a few genuinely impressive works, and I want to share them all with all of you!
This is not a normal art show, but a celebration of growth. A physical way to observe the time I spent trying to get better at something, and I think that’s an art in itself.
Over the course of the year I painted over 90+ different works. Some to completion, and others abandoned in the pursuit of learning from the next one. The show will display them chronologically, showing off each of the works in the order they were completed (or abandoned).
There will be bar service, there will be music ("DJ Dine & Dash" playing late into the evening), but most importantly – we need to do something cultured every once and a while!
So come on out and enjoy a night of art, music, friends!
