Students will have the opportunity to read and discuss age-appropriate graphic novels and participate in fun and creative icebreakers and simple activities related to creating a graphic novel. They will then create their own novel that will be displayed in the Fort Island library. Students will also receive a $30.00 Barnes and Noble gift card during the last class. This program will be presented by librarians from the Akron-Summit County Public Library System. The graphic novels discussed each week will be PROVIDED for use during this class to each student the week prior.
