2025 Portage XC Invitational Registration

Thank you your interest in the 2025 Portage Invitational.

For added convenience, we have added the option to pay by credit card, electronic check, or by mailing a check to us.

PLEASE NOTE: If you select pay by cash/check, you will receive an invoice. Please send this to be processed. You have NOT PAID and will need to do so.

Please follow the instructions below to continue to register for the 2025 Portage Invite:

  • Select the team(s) you are registering from the options below this text (generic titles, you will complete a form later)
  • Click the "Continue" button in the bottom right corner
  • Once on next screen, click "View Form" to complete the REQUIRED form for registration
  • Once the form is complete, click "Done" to return to the forms screen and select "Continue to Checkout"
  • Follow the prompts from there.

You can pay immediately by selecting Credit Card or Electronic Check. Or you can pay later by selecting pay by cash or check. FEES MUST BE RECIEVED PRIOR TO THE EVENT TO COMPETE.

Please select the team(s) (HS or MS) below that you are registering for the event, then fill out the form at checkout completely and accurately to register your team(s) for the 2025 Portage Invite held on October 4th, 2025.  Any forms left incomplete, will not be considered.

The cost of the invite is

  • $150 per gender for High School teams ($300 for both men and women's HS teams)
  • $100 per gender for Middle School teams ($200 for both boy and girl's MS teams)  

Once you have completed this form an email will be sent out with a confirmation.  You will also receive an invite on Athletic.net within two weeks of filling out this form.

YOUR INFORMATION MUST BE FILLED OUT CORRECTLY IN ORDER TO RECEIVE YOUR CONFIRMATION.

Important Information & Deadlines:

  1. We will cap the number of teams in each division as follows:  HS divisions 1 through 4 capped at 50 teams; MS total teams capped at 65.  Registration is guaranteed to teams that competed in 2024 and who register prior to May 16, 2025.   If your team competed in 2024 but you do not complete this form by May 16th, your team's spot cannot be guaranteed.  After May 16th, registration is open to all teams who will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
  2.  Athletic.net confirmation completion - DUE: September 5, 2025.  Coaches must confirm their Athletic.net invitation.  This will give coaches access to their Portage Invite account.  We need this information confirmed to be sanctioned by the MHSAA.  If you are not confirmed by this date on  athletic.net , you are not guaranteed to compete.
  3.  Final Team Roster submission - September 26, 2025 by 5pm.  Coaches must complete their rosters by September 26th.  This action assists us in generating starting line assignments and bib preparation. Starting line assignments are generated randomly.
  4.  Roster edits/changes can be made until October 2, 2025.  Athletic.net will close and be locked at 5pm on October 2nd.  All other requests after October 2 must be sent to  portageinvitational@gmail.com .  Requests received after October 2, 2025 will be considered but not guaranteed.
