The Thunder are excited to offer our Junior Thunder program again this winter starting in early January 2025.
Program Overview
The program will focus on:
Developing softball fundamentals in all areas (hitting, fielding, pitching, and more)
Understanding core softball concepts
Improving strength and conditioning
Creating new friendships, learning the value of teamwork, and what it means to be part of the Thunder Family!
Having fun!
The program is aimed at helping prepare our young athletes for their spring house league season and for Thunder tryouts next summer (if they choose to pursue travel softball), and is open to players born in 2013 - 2016 (younger players are allowed, but most of our past participants have been between 8 - 10 years old).
The program will consist of twelve 90-minute sessions on Sunday afternoons (2:15 pm - 3:45 pm), running January 12th through late April (with exceptions for Spring Break, Easter, etc.) at our brand new training facility in Arlington Heights.
The program fee is $240 and includes all indoor training costs, instruction, t-shirts, and more. The program is lead by former high school and collegiate players (adults) with help from experienced Thunder Sisters (older players in the Thunder Family).
