**What is Friends of the Lion?**
Friends of the Lion is an annual fundraising effort for Woodbrook school by the Woodbrook community. This campaign eliminates the need to sell door-to-door or utilize a third-party fundraising platform that pays itself through a portion of the money raised. With Friends of the Lion, **100% of the proceeds raised go directly to Woodbrook school. Our goal this year is to raise $20,000!**
**What will my contribution help pay for?**
Your once per year donation to our Friends of the Lion campaign supports PTO programs for the entire year. Your generous financial support enables the PTO to:
Fund ALL field trips for the 2024-2025 school year.
Sponsor our "Artist in Residence" series, which may include special author, music, art and science guest visits.
Provide classroom and teacher support funds.
Sponsor Family Fun events.
Support our teachers and staff through appreciation events and professional development.
Fund classroom parties and a variety of student activities and clubs.
Provide any needed support to maintain a clean and safe school.
Sponsor the Fall Food Truck Festival.
Maintain an online directory of WBE family contact information.
And more!
**How much should I donate?**
A suggested donation of $60 per student would provide the support described above. However, we welcome gifts of any size. If you are able to donate more than the suggested donation amount per student, we would appreciate larger contributions to help us meet the needs of EVERY student at Woodbrook. This year's goal is $20,000! All donations are tax-deductible. Thank you!
