Dear Potential Patron or Area Business,
Thank you for your interest in becoming a sponsor of the 2023 Clearview Youth Football & Cheerleading (CYFC) season. CYFC is a community run program offering youth of Mantua and Harrison Townships an opportunity to learn about teamwork and to build self-esteem while interacting with children their own age. Our football and cheerleading program serves over 300 area children between the ages of 5-14. At all levels, the CYFC coaches stress safety, leadership, and the sense of “community”. Most importantly – we have fun! The program much attention and commitment from our participant’s parents. Many of the tasks and necessities needed to execute a single game are beyond what the parent volunteers can supply. These parents not only actively support their children on the sideline, they are also responsible for supporting the concessions, running the games, and coaching as well as helping to raise funds to keep our not‐for‐profit program operational. Despite this, we still need to rely on our friends and families in the community for financial sponsorship.
Unlike other sports programs in our community, CYFC receives very little financial support from local township governing bodies. In addition, we have discounted registration fees and provide scholarships to help those families struggling to enlist their children into our programs. Our policy is to “never turn away a child” who wishes to participate and we would like to maintain our independence. To do so, we need to rely on local community support. Due to the recent economic decline, the generosity of businesses and residents has slowed. Couple this with the rise in cost of high quality equipment that ensures the safety of our players, and one can understand the financial challenge our non--‐profit organization faces overall.
It is in this spirit of community that we kindly ask you to consider sponsoring CYFC at a level most convenient for your company/business/family. As recognition of your generosity, we would like to honor your business by advertising your support in a variety of formats listed on the attached form. Your generosity will be advertised throughout the 2023 season at our home field located at the Pleasant Valley complex, or by another appealing way as described by you.
As a final note, CYFC is a 501(c) (3) organization and your contribution is tax deductible. We welcome any form of monetary or goods and service donations.
