The North Royalton Educational Foundation (NREF) was established in 1986 to enrich educational opportunities for students and teachers. The Foundation helps fund district programs recognizing academic excellence, provides Teacher of the Year, Support Staff of the Year, and Friend of Education awards, and yearly Educational Foundation college scholarships to graduating seniors. The Educational Foundation also serves as a vehicle for individuals and families to set up special memorial scholarships.
